Chiropractic Orthopedists are a different kind of chiropractor. We handle both acute health problems, such as sports, auto-accidents and other injuries, as well as more chronic conditions, including arthritis, chronic neck and back pain, headaches and overexertion from daily living, just to name a few.
At Clover Chiropractic Care, our number one goal is to get you out of pain as soon and as safely as possible. To do so, we utilize a wide variety of drug-free and surgery-free treatments tailored to your particular diagnosis, and based on the most current available research. As a result, patients with differing health conditions have many treatment options available to them.
A chiropractic orthopedist is a chiropractic physician who has completed post graduate training leading towards board certification as a chiropractic orthopedic specialist. Upon completion of the 3-4 year postgraduate program the board eligible chiropractic orthopedist must pass both written and clinical examinations demonstrating expertise consistent with an orthopedic specialist. The chiropractic orthopedist treats musculoskeletal injuries in a non-surgical manner and provides non-surgical treatment options; such as manual therapy, massage, ultrasound, electrical muscle therapy, exercise programs and more, for relief of joint, nerve and muscle pain in necks, backs, knees, elbows, wrists and other joints. Referrals for medical or surgical procedures are made when indicated. Dr. Schonfeld offers a unique blend of education and caring which have provided relief of pain and suffering for thousands.
“Chiropractic orthopedics shall be considered a branch of orthopedics, the purposes of which are: by non-surgical techniques, to prevent and correct deformities and to preserve and to improve the functions of bones, muscles, joints and their nerve supply, when such functions are threatened or impaired by defects, lesions or disease” – American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists
